Infiniti has unveiled the QX80 Monograph concept, which is basically a concept version of the next-generation QX80 SUV. The large SUV concept is meant to preview what the next QX80 will look like on the outside and Infiniti describes it as the “ultimate expression of futuristic luxury SUV design.”
The QX80 Monograph is the first model to wear the “Monograph” name, which Infiniti says will be used in the future for other design studies that explore ways that the brand can develop specific elements of its cars.
The QX80 Monograph concept borrows the brand’s latest design language, but its sculpted exterior, geometric shapes and large front grille give it a more commanding presence on the road than the QX30 or QX70 models.

“The QX80 Monograph is an exploration of how we plan to take a step forward in the large SUV segment,” stated Francois Bancon, Infiniti’s Vice President, Global Product Strategy. “This is an important initiative for Infiniti, as the QX80 is popular with buyers in a number of markets – particularly in North America and the Middle East.”
Infiniti hasn’t announced when the new QX80 will debut, but it’s expected that it could arrive sometime next year.
