Infiniti will soon expand its crossover lineup with the addition of a new two-row crossover. It’s being reported that Infiniti recently told dealers that it will introduce a new crossover by 2025.

According to Automotive News, the new crossover will slot in between the QX50 and QX60 models, although it will share its platform with the QX60. In the report Sam Fiorani, vice president at AutoForecast Solutions, stated that the new Infiniti midsize crossover will be aimed at “empty nesters and smaller families,” which will make it the perfect rival to the Lexus RX.

At the same dealer meeting, Infiniti also showed off the next QX80 SUV, in addition to its first electric vehicle. We recently saw a preview of the new EV, which appears to be a sedan. The new EV will enter production in 2025 at Nissan’s Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Mississippi.
