The 2019 Hyundai Nexo is slated to go on sale soon in California and now we have the initial pricing for the fuel cell SUV. The 2019 Nexo starts at $59,345, which means that it’s only $60 more than the Toyota Mirai.

The base Hyundai Nexo Blue starts just under $60k including the destination fees, while the Limited trim level starts at $62,845. If that price does seem a bit steep, don’t forget that the Nexo is eligible for the $5,000 California Clean Vehicle Rebate.

The Nexo comes standard with LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, synthetic leather seats, auto emergency braking, blind spot warning and adaptive cruise control. The Nexo Limited adds 19-inch wheels, a power liftgate, surround-view monitor, power sunroof, remote parking assist, an 8-speaker Krell audio system, heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats.

With a 380-mile driving range, the Nexo can travel further than its two closest rivals, the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell and the Toyota Mirai.
