Hyundai has unveiled a slightly sportier version of the i30, which is sold as the Elantra GT in the US. The i30 N-Line amps up the style of the i30 in Europe, but without the performance upgrades that you get with the hotter i30 N.

The Hyundai i30 N-Line is the first model to get the new N-Line trim level. While you won’t find the i30 N’s turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder under the hood of the i30 N-Line, the new trim level does add some small performance upgrades of the standard i30. Hyundai says that the N-Line trim level does add tweaks to the suspension, brakes and engine response.

The only engine option is the 1.4L four-cylinder with 138 horsepower, which is much lower than you’ll get in the i30N with its 247 horsepower 2.0L engine.

On the outside the i30 N-Line does borrow many of the styling upgrades that the i30 N gets, including the sportier front and rear bumpers. The trim level also adds 18-inch wheels and a new twin muffler. Inside N-branded suede sport seats are available and a perforated leather sport steering wheel and the N gear shift knob have also been added.
