Honda confirms Civic Type R will debut at the Geneva Motor Show

Honda has finally confirmed that it will show the production version of the much anticipated Civic Type R at the upcoming 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March.

Honda has finally confirmed that it will show the production version of the much anticipated Civic Type R at the upcoming 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. Honda says that the Civic Type R will be the “most extreme Type R ever built.”
The new Civic Type R will be powered by Honda’s new 2.0L VTEC turbocharged engine, which will generate around 280 horsepower. The Civic Type R will also get a sport-tuned suspension and an “+R” button is also expected that will alter its engine and steering response.

Honda hasn’t released any teasers of the Civic Type R, but it will likely be toned down a bit from the the concept version that you see here.
