GMC is out to make its vehicles look a bit more rugged with the introduction of the new AT4 trim, which is available on the GMC Sierra and now the Acadia. GMC hasn’t officially announced the pricing for the 2020 GMC Acadia AT4, but according to Cars Direct, it will start at $42,495, including the destination fees.

If you were hoping that the AT4 package would help the Acadia rival other more rugged midsize SUVs, like the Toyota 4Runner, you’ll be disappointed.

The GMC Acadia AT4 beefs up the exterior of the family SUV a bit with a black chrome accented grille, all-terrain tires with unique 17-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood the Acadia AT4 is powered by a 310-hp 3.6L V6 that’s mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission.
