Volkswagen is going to unveil the eighth-generation Golf this October and to prepare for the debut, we have a new teaser of the 2020 Golf.

VW has released a photo of a camouflaged 2020 Golf, which gives a preview of what we can expect to see this fall. The prototype we see here is wrapped in a white and black camouflage, but luckily for us it’s not hiding too much. What we can already see is that the eighth-generation Golf won’t stray too far from the design of the current Golf or even the generations before it.

According to Klaus Bischoff, head of Volkswagen Design, “The next generation will be a genuine eye-catcher!”

The 2020 Golf will go on sale in Europe by the end of the year, but here in the US it will likely only arrive as the GTI and R. VW already announced that the SportWagen and Alltrack models are dead after 2019 in the US and it’s also being reported that the base Golf will eventually disappear too.
