The face of GMC is expected to change in the near future with the brand looking at the possibility of expanding its lineup.
“I have come here to do a job and change the face of the brand,” Buick-GMC Vice President Duncan Aldred told Edmunds. Aldred was named Vice President of the two brands earlier this year and hinted to Edmunds that GMC could get a few new models, like a more rugged model that would compete with the Jeep Wrangler and maybe even a new compact crossover.

“We are looking at everything,” Aldred stated. “What segments will grow? What segments will not? We are evaluating all possibilities that could really turbocharge the brand and the growth.”
Although no decisions have been made, GMC could also add a model above the Yukon as well.
