Jeep is finally going to bring back the Grand Wagoneer, which is expected to arrive for the 2018 model year. According to Jeep global brand director Michael Manley the Grand Wagoneer will sit at the top of the Jeep lineup and will rival Range Rover.
Michael Manley recently spoke with Autocar where he revealed that the three-row Grand Wagoneer is a “big focus and will fill out the brand at the top.” He also killed any reports that the Grand Wagoneer will compete with the upcoming Maserati Levante SUV, since the two brands are very different. “Levante will play in a part of the market that Jeep is not playing in.”

Even though the Grand Wagoneer will not compete with the Levante, it will compete in the luxury SUV segment against models like the Range Rover and BMW X5.
