The GMC Hummer EV is slated to arrive in the fall of 2022, but if you’ve been wondering if GMC has plans for another EV, heres some good news. GMC has confirmed that it’s working on a second electric pickup truck.

Automotive News is reporting that Duncan Aldred, vice president of global Buick and GMC confirmed the new EV, which will be an electric full-size truck. We don’t have any other details yet, but the big question is if it will be called the Sierra.

GMC also hasn’t provided a timeline to when the new electric truck will arrive. When it does though, it will rival the Ford F-150 Lighting and also the Tesla and Rivian electric trucks. GM has already confirmed a Chevy Silverado EV as well.
