This month Ford registered the “EcoBeast” name with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, but what does it mean? Automakers have a history of registering names that they will never use, but in this case, the “EcoBeast” name could be applied to the next-generation F-150 Raptor.
The filing also comes right before the kick off the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, in which Ford is expected to reveal a new F-150 Raptor, in addition to the Focus RS, Shelby GT350R and maybe even a new GT.
