Ford has yet to make any official announcements, but it’s rumored that Ford will unveil the new US-spec Ford Ranger pickup next month at the Detroit Auto Show. The new Ranger will go on sale in the U.S. by the end of next year, so the Detroit Auto Show could be a great place to show it off.
According to trucks.com and Autoweek, the 2019 Ford Ranger will take the stage in Detroit. The regular spec 2019 Ranger and Ranger FX4 will debut at the same time, but we’ll probably have to wait a bit to see the Ranger Raptor.
We already know that the 2019 Ranger will offer both a turbocharged four-cylinder and 2.7L V6. The Ranger Raptor will be powered by the 3.5L EcoBoost V6. All the Ranger’s engines will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Stay tuned.
