If you were hoping to be able to reserve a new Ford Bronco, we have some bad news for you. Ford has stopped taking online reservations for the Bronco, due to high demand and production issues.
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Ford sent a memo to dealerships last week where it alerted dealers that it has paused taking new reservations for the Bronco. Part of the memo stated, “Customers are encouraged to work directly with their dealer who can help with the ordering process, delivery timing expectations, and build specifications. For example, dealers can best guide if a customer may be able to get a stock vehicle that’s already built or scheduled. Due to the high number of orders, delivery of Bronco vehicles placed today will extend through (the) 2022 calendar year.”
This means that although online reservations have been paused, buyers can still order a new Bronco directly from the dealer. The only downside is that if you place a reservation now, you’ll have to wait until sometime in 2022 to get it. But there is some good news, since Ford recently unveiled the new Eruption Green color for the 2022 Bronco.
