This week Fisker is going to reveal its new Ocean electric SUV at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but it decided to give reservation holders an early preview at a private event in Los Angeles.

Fisker Ocean California Mode

We’ll more details this week at CES 2020, but the Fisker Ocean will be powered by a 80 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that will give it a driving range between 250 to 300 miles. It also features a full-length solar roof that Fisker says will add about 1,000 miles of driving range per year.

Inside it features a “vegan” interior with 100% Polycarbonate Polyurethane surfaces and 100% reinforced Rayon backing. The materials are derived from recycled polyester fibers (T-shirts, fibers) and recycled plastic bottles.

The Fisker Ocean starts at $37,499 and after the $7,500 federal tax credit, the price drops to $29,999. Production will begin at the end of 2021 – with the first high-volume deliveries projected for 2022.
