Ferrari has announced that it will build a new Ferrari Land theme park in the Spanish resort of PortAventura, in 2016. The park is set to cost 100 million euros and will span 75,000 square meters, which will include a 250-room hotel, roller coasters and a driving simulator.
The success of Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi brought in several requests for new Ferrari theme parks, according to Andrea Perrone, CEO of Ferrari. “Ferrari Land will delight the whole family and not just Formula 1 fans. We will continue to evaluate other proposals for theme parks outside Europe.”
