This week Cadillac took the wraps off the 2019 Cadillac XT4 compact crossover, which is the first of several new models that Cadillac will release over the next few years. Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen has revealed that over by 2022 Cadillac, on average, will release a new vehicle every six months.
The next new Cadillac will be a large crossover, which is expected to be called the Cadillac XT6, which could debut later this year. The new three-row crossover will be followed by the replacement for the ATS sedan and then the CTS’s replacement could come by the end of next year.
One model that isn’t coming anytime soon is a new halo vehicle for the brand. A recent report claims that Cadillac has given the green light for a production version of the 2016 Cadillac Escala concept, but it won’t enter production until the end of 2021, meaning that it will arrive as a 2022 model.
