Cadillac ATS Convertible and Wagon Versions Could Happen

Cadillac’s global chief Bob Ferguson revealed in Detroit that its possible that Cadillac could also introduce convertible and wagon versions of the ATS in the future.

Yesterday Cadillac unveiled the second version of the new ATS, the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe at the Detroit Auto Show. Cadillac’s global chief Bob Ferguson revealed at the show that its possible that Cadillac could also introduce convertible and wagon versions of the ATS in the future.

“You’ve made the investment. You’ve built a brand within a brand,” Ferguson stated. “If you have a winner, you should exploit that and offer variations.”

Before either an ATS convertible or ATS wagon or introduced, Cadillac is going to release a high-performance ATS-V, which should arrive by the end of the year. The ATS-V is expected to get a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 with around 500 horsepower.
