Buick isn’t confirming it, but Opel has announced that the Cascada convertible will be dropped from its lineup at the end of 2019. That means that the Buick Cascada, which is essentially a rebadged version of the Opel Cascada will also leave Buick’s lineup by the end of 2019.

Opel says that it’s discontinuing the Cascada, ADAM, and KARL models due to new emissions standards in Europe. “In order to contribute to the CO2 compliance and to focus on high volume segments, the Opel ADAM, KARL and Cascada will not be replaced after the end of their life cycles, but will remain on sale until the end of 2019,” Opel stated.

Automotive News reached out to Buick to see if there are any updates about the Buick Cascada, but right now Buick is simply saying that the Cascada is an important model and that it’s “not confirming anything at this point.”
