It’s been two years since Bugatti built the Super Sport 300. Now Bugatti is releasing another version of the car, but this time it’s simply called the Chiron Super Sport.

Just like the Super Sport 300, the Super Sport gets a revised body to make it more stable at high speeds. For example the rear deck is about 10 inches longer to help reduce drag and the exhaust pipes have been moved from the center and are now split into pairs on both sides of the large rear diffuser. There are also nine holes at the top of each fender to releases the air pressure from the front wheel wells.

The standard Chiron has 1,479 horsepower, but the Super Sport gets an upgraded version of the 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged Q-16 engine with a revised cylinder head and new turbochargers. The Super Sport has 1,577 hp and 1,180 pound-feet of torque.

Bugatti says that the Super Sport can accelerate from 0-124 mph in 5.8 seconds and it only needs 12.1 seconds to reach 186 mph. It also has a speed limiter that prevents you from reaching speeds beyond 273 mph.

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport will arrive in early 2022, with a price tag starting around $3.9 million.
