BMW Blog is reporting that the Z4 M40i is slated to get a six-speed manual that will be mated to the B58 six-cylinder engine. The report claims that the six-speed manual will be added to the options list as part of the roadster’s mid cycle refresh.
Manual transmissions continue to disappear, with most sports cars being only available with an automatic transmission, so the news about a manual for the Z4 is great news. We should get the official news when the 2023 Z4 is unveiled.
