BMW has released a teaser photo of the new 3.0 CSL Hommage concept that is going to debut on May 22 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The concept is a tribute to the BMW 3.0 CSL coupe from the 1970s.
BMW has released a teaser photo of the new 3.0 CSL Hommage concept that is going to debut on May 22 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The concept is a tribute to the BMW 3.0 CSL coupe from the 1970s.
Although its retro styling will be inspired by the classic and iconic 3.0 CSL, the concept will be made out of the latest “cutting-edge materials,” like carbon fiber. The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage’s body is framed by air deflectors, powerful wheel arches and a prominent roof and rear spoiler.

BMW hasn’t revealed any photos of the interior, but does say that it has been pared-down to keep the weight of the concept in check. The interior will only feature the bare essentials.
