Bentley is reportedly targeting a top speed of 200 mph for its new SUV, which is expected to go on sale in 2016. Bentley originally previewed its SUV with the EXP 9 F concept, but it’s being heavily reworked to help it reach the 200 mph target.
The redesigned SUV is getting a lower roofline, reshaped rear end better underbody aerodynamics compared to the EXP 9 F concept. Even though the SUV will be insanely fast on the road, Bentley is also working hard to make sure that it is just as capable off-road. Special tires are also being designed that can sustain a speed of 200 mph, but also perform well off-road.

It’s expected that the SUV will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0L W12 engine, although a turbocharged 4.0L V8 and a plug-in hybrid version may also be offered.
Bentley is expected to unveil the new SUV sometime next year.
