Nearly every automaker has shifter their focus to electric cars and that includes Bentley, since it will reportedly introduce a fully-electric sports car in 2019. Bentley teased its upcoming electric car earlier this year with the EXP 12 Speed 6e concept that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show.

Bentley has yet to officially confirm the reports about an electric sports car, but according to Autocar, the electric car may be similar to the concept we saw this year. The Bentley electric sports car may use VW Group’s “J1” platform, which will also be the basis for the upcoming Porsche Mission E electric car. Both the Mission E and Bentley’s electric car are expected to arrive in 2019.

The biggest difference between the two electric cars, will be that the Porsche Mission E will be a four-door electric car that will directly rival the Tesla Model S, while the Bentley electric car will be a two-door grand tourer. Both models will have a driving range around 300 miles.
