When Audi set out to redesign the A4, it decided that the current generation is a bit too soft, so the new A4’s styling gets sharper creases to make it look a bit more masculine. You’ll see many of the same design cues as the rest of the updated Audi lineup, like the new TT, but overall the styling isn’t a huge departure. Audi also says that the A4 sedan’s exterior has the best drag coefficient in its class at 0.23.

Inside it’s a different story, where the interior has been completely revamped with a large 12.3-inch virtual cockpit being the centerpiece. The large virtual screen originally debuted on the new TT and does away with the traditional gauges that you’d normally see behind the steering wheel. The center console and dash also get big updates.
