All-New 2015 Volvo XC90 Priced at $48,900

Volvo has announced that the all-new 2015 Volvo XC90 will start at $48,900, almost $10k more than the outgoing model.

Volvo wasn’t planning on debuting the all-new 2015 XC90 until next week on September 3, but this morning several leaked photos of the new XC90 ruined Volvo’s plans. Now that we have official photos, Volvo has been kind enough to release some info, including its starting price, which is set at $48,900.

With a starting price set at almost $49k, the all-new XC90 starts at almost $10k higher than the outgoing model. The 2015 XC90 is built on Volvo’s new SPA architecture with exterior styling that is similar to the outgoing model, but the LED headlight’s “Thor’s Hammer” design are a nice touch.

When it goes on sale, the 2015 XC90 will be offered with two fuel efficient engines, a 318-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged four-cylinder engine and a Twin Engine plug-in hybrid with an amazing 400 horsepower.

Volvo has also announced that 1,927 First Edition models will be available with a starting price set at $65,900.
