Volvo is inching closer to the debut of the all-new EX60, its most technologically advanced EV yet. Set to be revealed on January 21, the EX60 will become the first Volvo to feature Gemini, Google’s next-generation AI assistant capable of natural, conversational voice interactions. Drivers will be able to ask the EX60 to perform complex tasks—like retrieving an address from an email or checking if an item will fit in the trunk—without taking their eyes off the road.

Powering all this intelligence is Volvo’s new HuginCore electronic architecture paired with a suite of high-end processors, including Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Cockpit Platform and NVIDIA’s DRIVE AGX Orin chip. Volvo says the EX60 will offer its most responsive infotainment experience to date, with instant map loading and virtually no system lag.
Safety takes another leap forward thanks to the EX60’s ability to perform more than 250 trillion operations per second, allowing the SUV to learn from real-world data and anticipate hazards in real time. The EX60 will also pack serious EV capability, offering an estimated 400 miles of range and the ability to add 173 miles in 10 minutes on a 400-kW fast charger.
The 2026 Volvo EX60 will be fully unveiled during a livestream on January 21.
