Volvo USA announced pricing for the 2025 Volvo EX30, the brand’s new subcompact battery-electric SUV that debuted in Milan in June.

The Swedish-based, Chinese-owned automaker said that its EPA-rated 275-mile single motor, rear-wheel-drive model will start at $34,950 for the Core trim, $38,900 for Plus trim, and $40,600 when dressed in Ultra trim. Rated at 268 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque, its engine propels it to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds.

The Twin Motor Performance model has an estimated EPA range of 265 miles, but has all-wheel drive. It starts at $44,900 in Plus trim, $46,600 in Ultra trim. That extra scratch brings with it 422 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, with a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds.

Regardless of trim, it stores 64 kWh of electrons, which can be recharged from 10%-to-80% in less than 27 minutes using a DC quick charger.

At 166.7 inches, the EX30 is eight inches shorter than the Volvo C40 Recharge, although its wheelbase is only two inches shorter at 104.3 inches. Therefore, while having a subcompact exterior, its interior is a class above in space. And when comes time to shlep stuff, the EX30 offers a maximum 31.9 cubic feet of cargo space with the back seats folded down.

The 2025 Volvo EX30 is offered in Moss Yellow, Cloud Blue, Vapour Grey, Crystal White, or Onyx Black exterior colors, with a cabin finished in one four themes, Mist, Pine, Indigo, & Breeze. 

Thoughtfully, Google comes standard on the base Core trim, so you’ll also get Google Maps and Google Assistant. For those on the other side of the smartphone aisle, you’ll also get wireless Apple CarPlay. Opting for the Plus trim nets Harman Kardon Premium Sound, a panoramic roof in Onyx Black, as well as 19-inch wheels. Pop for Ultra trim brings with it Pilot Assist with Lane Change Assistance, a 360-degree Camera with 3D View, and Park Pilot Assist.

2024 Volvo EX30

Buyers can reserve a 2025 Volvo EX30 now, and will be. able to configure their EX30 later this fall. Deliveries are expected to begin in the first half of next year.
