We’ve been patiently waiting for Hyundai to reveal its new three-row electric SUV, the Ioniq 9 and now we have some teasers. Hyundai has announced that the Ioniq 9 will debut in November, which likely means that it will have its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Ioniq 9 is based on the same Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) as the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 EVs. Hyundai gave us an initial preview of the Ioniq 9 with the Seven concept. The one teaser that shows the silhouette, reveals that the overall shape of the Ioniq 9 will not be a big departure from the concept.
Since the Ioniq 9 will share a lot with the Kia EV9, we can expect it to have similar specs. The EV9 has a driving range up to 304 miles and can be charged from 10-80 percent in 24 minutes.
