Cadillac has revealed the 2025 Cadillac Escalade, a mid-cycle facelift that brings new styling, new tech, and a massively overhauled interior.

Heading into the 2025 model year, the Escalade line will find itself split between gasoline and electric-powered variants. This update to the gas-powered version is meant to bring its design and technology more in line with that of the upcoming 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ EV.

The exterior of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade sees fairly minor revisions focused on bringing it more in line with modern Cadillac designs like the Lyriq and Celestiq. To this end, Cadillac has given the front a new face with super-slim daytime running lights (while they look like headlights, those are now concealed lower in the bumper).

A larger grille with different textures depending on trim will feature a new illuminated Cadillac logo as standard. Premium Luxury Platinum and V-Series models will also have an illuminated grille surround.

The rear of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade will feature subtly updated taillights, a repositioned Cadillac logo, as well as tweaked bumper and exhaust tip designs.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade will be available in three new colors, including Aegean Stone, Latte Metallic, and Deep Sea Metallic. Updated 22-inch wheel designs are present, as are new 24-inch wheel options, the largest ever offered on an Escalade.

Like the upcoming Escalade IQ, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade will be available with power open/close doors, with the driver’s door able to pop open as you approach with a key and then be coaxed to close itself simply by tapping the brake pedal.

The interior of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade is where the most dramatic updates happen, with a design clearly inspired by the Escalade IQ and Celestic models. Gone is the dual-layer OLED screen setup, replaced with a massive full-width pillar-to-pillar display system featuring a 35-inch driver display and a 20-inch front passenger display. Another touchscreen mounted on the center console controls things like climate, seat controls, and numerous other vehicle functions.

As in other Cadillac models, a new column-mounted shifter can be found mounted behind a new steering wheel, while a 128-color ambient lighting system adds even more dazzle to these upgraded environs.

A new Executive Second Row package takes the luxury quotient up a huge notch for rear-seat passengers. This package will add heated, ventilated, and massaging second-row seats, a new second-row center console with built-in touchscreen controls, wireless phone chargers, and stow-able tray tables. Dual 12.6-inch seatback-mounted displays and headrest-mounted speakers round out this splurgy package.

GM’s excellent Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system, a 19-speaker AKG premium audio system, and, interestingly, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability will be standard on all 2025 Cadillac Escalade models.

Powertrain options for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade are reduced with the 3.0-lt turbodiesel inline-six scrubbed from the lineup. This leaves the trusty 6.2-lt V8 as the sole engine option. Standard versions of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade’s V8 will be rated at 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. V-Series models will add a supercharger that upgrades those power ratings to 682 hp and 653 lb-ft of torque.

All 2025 Cadillac Escalades will come standard with a ten-speed automatic transmission, while GM’s high-tech Magnetic Ride Control adjustable suspension will be standard on every trim except the base Luxury trim.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade is due to go into production later this year, with pricing and availability announced closer to that time.
