The Toyota Land Cruiser is officially back. Toyota has announced that sales of the 2024 Land Cruiser are slated to begin this spring and that its pricing will start at $57,445.

2024 Toyota Land Cruiser

Unlike the last Toyota Land Cruiser, the new one is more attainable and smaller. It shares its DNA with the 2024 Lexus GX 550, but with some noteworthy differences. For starters, the Land Cruiser is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter i-Force Max hybrid powertrain. This powertrain is already offered in other models, like the Grand Highlander and Crown. It generates 326 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. Thanks to the hybrid powertrain, the Land Cruiser is rated at 23 mpg combined, which is a big improvement over the last generation.

The Land Cruiser is built on the TNGA-F global truck platform that is shared with Tundra, Sequoia and Tacoma. The Land Cruiser comes standard with center and rear-locking differentials and it can tow up to 6,000 pounds, which is significantly less than the Lexus GX.

The 2024 Land Cruiser will be offered in three trim levels: Land Cruiser 1958, Land Cruiser and the First Edition.
