The Range Rover Sport continues to earn the “Sport” part of its name and now the new Range Rover Sport SV grabs the title as the most powerful Range Rover yet.

2024 Range Rover Sport SV

The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 with a mild-hybrid system. The powertrain generates a total 626 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, that’s 51hp and 38 lb-ft more than the previous generation Range Rover Sport SVR’s Supercharged 5.0-liter V8. The Range Rover Sport SV can accelerate from 0-60 mph in only 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 180mph.

It features a new 6D Dynamics suspension that makes it ride between 10mm and 25mm lower than other Range Rover Sport models, depending on which drive mode you choose. The SV drive mode also enhances the steering, all-wheel drive, torque vectoring and locking rear differential. New 305-section rear tires wrap the 23-inch wheels, which are 20mm wider than the 285-section front tires. It gets standard Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires.

The Range Rover Sport SV also gets some exterior upgrades, like a carbon fiber hood and some styling tweaks to improve its aerodynamics. Available carbon ceramic brakes provide a 75 pound un-sprung weight reduction and the optional carbon fiber wheels save about 78 pounds compared to the standard wheels.

Inside there are satin carbon fiber-backed SV Performance Seats with integrated headrests, more sculpted bolsters and illuminated SV logos on their backrests.

The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV is going to ultra exclusive, since for the first year of production it is only available for select clients to order by invitation, in the limited edition SV Edition One trim.
