Lexus has finally made the TX official after so many rumors about the brand’s new three-row SUV had been circling. Lexus has announced that it is getting ready to unveil the 2024 TX with a teaser that shows the rear side profile of its newest SUV.

Lexus hasn’t released any other details, but the TX is expected to be closely related to the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander. This means that it will offer more room than the old RX L, which is a good thing. It will also finally give Lexus a rival to the Acura MDX and Infiniti QX60.

Since it will share a lot with the Grand Highlander, we’ll have to wait and see if it also shares the same powertrains. The Grand Highlander comes standard with a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine and there are two hybrid options to choose from. A 2.5-liter hybrid or the Hybrid Max system with 362 horsepower. Lexus has filed trademarks for the TX 350, TX 500 and TX 550h+ names, with the latter name likely to be used by a plug-in hybrid version.

Stay tuned.
