Buick is elevating the style of the 2024 Encore GX with a facelift, new tech features and the addition of the luxurious Avenir trim level.

2024 Buick Encore GX Avenir

On the outside the 2024 Encore GX borrows gets Buick’s new design language that debuted with the Wildcat EV concept last year. This includes a new front fascia with a forward-leaning front-end, new grille and winged LED headlights. At the rear there’s the new Buick logo and the ST and Avenir trim levels get new taillights. The ST trim level also gets high gloss black front and rear bumpers. Lastly there are new 18-inch and 19-inch wheels.

Inside the big update is the new Virtual Cockpit System, which is a 19-inch screen that combines the 11-inch infotainment system and 8-inch digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, while wireless phone charging is optional. The updated interior also gets higher quality materials Buick’s QuietTuning system.

For buyers that want a more luxurious option there’s the new Encore GX Avenir, which gets a unique grille, clear taillights, 19-inch wheels and chrome trim. Inside the Avenir trim is available in either Whisper Beige and Jet Black color themes, with leather seats, a 10-way power driver seat, an 8-way power passenger seat, heated steering wheel, air ionizer, rearview auto dim mirror, and embroidered Avenir head restraints and Avenir door sills.

The 2024 Encore GX comes standard with a 1.2L turbocharged engine with 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. A 1.3L turbocharged engine with 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque is optional. Front-wheel drive models have a CVT, while the all-wheel drive models have a nine-speed automatic transmission. FWD models are rated at 30 mpg combined, while the AWD versions are rated at 27 mpg combined.

The 2024 Encore GX Preferred trim starts at just $26,895, with Sport Touring starting at $28,095 and Avenir starting at $33,195.  The 2024 Encore GX will arrive this spring.
