Buick has unveiled the 2024 Buick Envision, ushering in a host of mid-cycle changes for the brand’s midsized crossover.
Buick introduced its new face on the 2024 Buick Envista as well as the 2024 Buick Encore GX. The 2024 Buick Envision is next in line for the brand’s new, more aggressive shark nose front. The rear of the 2024 Buick Envision gets a comparatively mild overhaul with new taillights and a revised bumper. New color options, as well as new wheel designs, round out the exterior changes for the 2024 Buick Envision.
The interior of the 2024 Buick Envision also sees a substantial update. Front and center is a 30-inch display that dominates the dash. This display combines a digital driver’s display and central infotainment touchscreen into one continuous screen, much like Cadillac’s new 33-inch curved display. The right section of the display will be touch-sensitive, while the portion in front of the driver will not be. This display will be customizable, allowing drivers to switch between a variety of views for navigation, audio, and more.
Powertrain options are carryover with all 2024 Buick Envisions featuring a four-cylinder turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission, while AWD will now be standard.
The 2024 Buick Envision will feature revised trim levels that now include the base Preferred that will start at $37,295, the sporty mid-range ST that will start at $39,795, and the top-of-the-line Avenir that will start at $48,395.
The 2024 Buick Envision will also get updated, higher-quality switchgear, a new rotary media controller, a revised, now column-mounted shifter, and a new seat design. A new leather-wrapped wheel will also be standard, as will a heads-up display, user-configurable ambient lighting, and a nine-speaker Bose audio system. New interior color options include garnet with black accents (pictured here) as well as cool grey with slate blue accents as additions to more standard interior colorways.
The 2024 Buick Envision will come standard with adaptive cruise control, blind zone assist, rear cross-traffic braking, an HD surround vision system, and more. Buick had previously announced the 2024 Buick Envision would feature GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous cruise control system, though that appears to no longer be the case.
The updated 2024 Buick Envision will go on sale this summer.
