We’re still wondering when the next-generation Toyota Tacoma will arrive, but in the meantime Toyota continues to give the Tacoma some small updates. Toyota has revealed the updates to the 2023 Tacoma, which includes the introduction of two new available packages and a new Solar Octane color for the Tacoma TRD Pro.
The Tacoma SR5 gets two new packages: The Chrome Package and the SR5 SX Package. The 2023 Tacoma SX Package is available only on V6-powered SR5s in Access Cab or Double Cab 4×2 and 4×4 models. It adds black overfenders, wheels, badging, outer mirrors and lug nuts. It’s topped off with a special bed graphic.
The 2023 Tacoma Chrome Package is only available on the V6-powered SR5 Double Cab with 5-foot bed in either 4×2 or 4×4. It adds 18-inch polished alloy wheels, chrome-finished outer door handles, exhaust tip and tailgate TACOMA lettering. Inside it adds a leather-wrapped shift knob.
The 2023 Tacoma is available in several trim levels: SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, TRD Pro, Trail Edition and Nightshade Edition.
