Toyota has announced that it has teamed up with EVgo to provide a year of free DC fast charging access at any of EVgo’s fast chargers across 35 states.
EVgo operates more than 800 DC fast charging locations and thousands of Level 2 charging stations across the country. The 2023 Toyota BZ4X electric crossover has an estimated 250 mile range. It can be powered by either a single 201 horsepower electric motor that powers the front wheels or an all-wheel drive version with two electric motors that generate a combined 215 hp.
The front-wheel drive bZ4X is powered by a 71.4 kWh battery pack, while the AWD version gets a slightly bigger 72.8 kWh battery.
“The arrival of our all-electric bZ4X marks an important step in our commitment towards electrifying 70% of our fleet by 2030,” stated Christopher Yang, vice president, EV Charging Solutions, Toyota Motor North America.
The 2023 Toyota bZ4X will arrive this spring.
