Starting on the outside, Taycans with the panoramic roof can add the Variable Light Control system that can adjust the roof translucency via nine settings. There’s also a new 19-inch Taycan S Aero wheel that replaces the single-color painted Taycan Aero Wheel. Inside the Taycan can be pre-wired for the front and rear dashcams.

There are some small changes to the powertrains, which might give the Taycan a slight range increase with dual-motor versions getting a front motor that can now be “de-energized” to cut parasitic losses in the Normal and Range driving modes. Porsche says that the 2023 Taycan gets an extra 31 miles of range on Europe’s WLTP cycle. Faster battery preconditioning, should shorten charging times and the battery is now able to handle higher temperatures.

The head-up display has also been updated and for drivers that like to select a specific brake regen setting, it can now be retained when switching between the drive modes. The Porsche Connect infotainment system has a redesigned user interface, while wireless Android Auto has been added. The good news is that the latest software updates are available to earlier Taycan models via OTA updates.

Pricing for the 2023 Porsche Taycan starts at $88,150 for the sedan and $99,150 for the Taycan Cross Turismo wagon.
