Nissan has unveiled the 2023 Pathfinder Rock Creek, which is a more off-road ready version of the SUV. The new Rock Creek version is part of the latest trend to make crossovers feel and look more rugged, like Subaru’s Wilderness models and the Honda Passport TrailSport and Ford Explorer Timberline.
The Pathfinder Rock Creek gets an 0.6-inch suspension lift with an off-road tuned suspension, 18-inch beadlock-style wheels with 265/60R18 all-terrain tires and a tubular roof rack that can carry up to 220 pounds.
The Rock Creek also gets a tad more power thanks to revised fuel mapping, which means that it now generates 295 horsepower vs 284 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque vs 259 lb-ft. on premium fuel. The V6 is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is standard.
The Rock Creek stands out from the rest of the Pathfinder lineup with its unique front grille, orange contrast stitching and Rock Creek badging.
The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek will arrive this summer.
