Kia has unveiled the second-generation Niro crossover in Seoul, South Korea. Just like the last one, the new Niro will be offered in hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric versions. This time the Niro now has a lot more style.
The 2023 Kia Niro is inspired by the Habaniro concept that debuted in 2019, which gives it a bolder look. At the front the there’s the latest interpretation of the the brand’s “Tiger Nose” grille, while the EV version gets a slightly smaller version. At the side the big standout is the gloss black thick C-pillar that gives it a two-tone look. At the rear there are thin vertical LED taillights with additional lights in the rear bumper.
The new Niro’s interior that looks similar to the EV6 EV. The new digital gauge cluster and infotainment system are fused together to create one big screen.
Kia hasn’t released any powertrain specs for the 2023 Niro, so we’ll have to wait and see what Kia has planned when it goes on sale next year.
