Genesis is getting ready to introduce its second electric vehicle, the Electrified G80, which is a fully electric version of the G80 sedan. Genesis has announced the pricing for the Electrified G80, which starts at $80,920, including the destination charge.

Electrified G80

The Electrified G80 will be available in eight states in the US, which now includes Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Washington. That’s in addition to California, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. The Electrified G80 only comes in one configuration, with 19-inch wheels, Nappa leather seats, a 14.5-inch infotainment system, Lexicon audio system, heated and cooled front seats and a heated steering wheel. On the safety front it comes with a long list of safety systems, including Genesis’ Highway Driving Assist that combines lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.

The Electrified G80 is powered by two electric motors that generate a combined 365 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque and an 87.2-kilowatt-hour battery. Thanks to its 800-volt architecture, the electric G80 can be charged at speeds up to 187 kW. According to Genesis the Electrified G80 has a 282 mile range.
