Volkswagen has unveiled a line of accessories for the GTI, which it teamed up with several aftermarket companies to create, like Oettinger and Osram.
VW teamed up with Oettinger to give the exterior of the 2022 GTI a more aggressive look, which includes front and rear lip valances and a roof edge spoiler. The parts can be painted and installed by a VW dealer or an independent body shop. There’s also available LED Dynamic Turn Signals by Osram. The turn signals on the side mirrors are darkened when they are off, but when activated the turn signals move in a sequential fluid motion, from the inner mirror housing to the outside edge. The turn signals can be installed by a VW dealer.
Dynamic Wheel Center Caps are also available for both the GTI and Golf R, which allows the GTI or R logo to self-level and stay upright while the vehicle’s wheels and tires are in motion.
Other available accessories include, Rubber MuddyBuddy and carpeted Monster Mats and a Bumperdillo to protect the rear bumper.
