Subaru has announced the pricing for the 2022 Subaru WRX, which starts at $30,100, including destination, compared to $28,420 for the 2021 WRX.

The 2022 WRX is powered by a new 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder boxer engine that generates 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The four-cylinder can be mated to a six-speed manual or the Subaru Performance Transmission (SPT), which is a CVT with an 8-speed manual mode.

The 2022 Subaru WRX will be available in base, Premium, Limited and GT trim levels. The Premium trim level adds 18-inch wheels in a dark gray finish, LED fog lights, a rear spoiler, a push-button start, dual automatic climate control, heated front seats and an 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Limited trim level adds adaptive LED headlights, a blind-spot monitor with lane change assist and rear cross traffic alert, ultrasuede seats, an 11-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, power moonroof and a navigation system.

2022 Subaru WRX

The top of the line WRX GT starts at $42,890 and adds electronically controlled dampers and a new Drive Mode Select allows the driver to configure up to 430 different customization options for steering feel, damper settings, SI-Drive settings. The GT also gets Recaro front seats and 18-inch wheels in a matte gray finish. The GT comes standard with the SPT and the EyeSight driver assistance technology, which includes adaptive cruise control.
