The 2022 Jeep Compass is getting the blacked-out look with the addition of the Altitude package. Jeep says that the Altitude package is the result of “customer requests for more custom looks from the factory.”

The Altitude package lists for $1,645 and adds 18-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, Gloss Black exterior badges and accents, a black-painted roof and bright exhaust tip. Inside the cloth-vinyl seat have black stitching, in addition to Piano Black accents and a black headliner. The Compass Altitude package also comes with safety features, like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot Monitoring and a lane-keeping assist system.

The Compass Altitude is just one of the special Compass models available, since Jeep also recently introduced the Compass (RED) edition, which is part of a partnership with the (RED) campaign to donate funds that help fight global health emergencies. The (RED) Compass edition comes in Redline Pearl-Coat with body-color lower cladding and a painted roof. It also gets 19-inch wheels, black leather seats and a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. There’s also special (RED) badging.
