It was only a matter of time until Porsche released a GTS version of the electric Taycan and now it’s here. Porsche has unveiled the 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS and GTS Sport Turismo at the LA Auto Show.

The Taycan GTS is powered by two electric motors that generate a combined 590 horsepower with launch control. The GTS models fit perfectly in between the 462-hp Taycan 4S and 670-hp Taycan Turbo models. The Taycan GTS only needs 3.5 seconds to reach 60 mph.

Porsche hasn’t released the range estimate for the Taycan GTS, but it is powered by the same 93.4-kilowatt-hour Performance Battery Plus as the other Taycan models. Porsche does say that the battery’s 800-volt architecture can be charger from 5 percent to 80 percent in 22.5 minutes.

The GTS models get an adaptive air suspension and larger front rotors at 390 mm. On the outside the GTS models stand out from the other versions with more aggressive bumpers, side skirts and gloss black trim. The Taycan GTS Sport Turismo GTS also deletes the extra body cladding to give it a sleeker look. Both models come standard with 20-inch satin-black wheels that match the black tinted headlights.
