Kia has unveiled the fourth-generation 2022 Sedona, which is sold in other markets as the Kia Carnival. To try to appeal to more buyers, Kia has given the 2022 Sedona some SUV-inspired design touches and has even dubbed it the “Grand Utility Vehicle”.

2022 Kia Sedona

Compared to rivals, like the Chrysler Pacifica and Honda Odyssey, the new Sedona features a more squared off look that tries hard to not look like a minivan. There’s even a skid plate on the front, which is interesting, since it’s doubtful that the Sedona will likely ever go off-roading.

At the rear there’s a new full-width LED light strip.

Kia has yet to reveal any photos of the new Sedona’s interior and we also don’t know what’s under the hood.

The 2022 Kia Sedona is expected to arrive in the US in early 2021.
