We’ve been reporting on it for a while, but on Monday Kia made it official. The Sedona is dead and in its place we have the 2022 Carnival minivan. Kia has also released the first teaser of the US-spec Carnival.
The 2022 Kia Carnival was unveiled last summer and from what we can see here, the US-spec version will not differ much from the version that’s sold in other markets. Kia has also confirmed that the Carnival will have room for either seven or eight passengers, depending on how you spec the second row.
Under the hood there’s a 290-hp 3.5-liter V6. The 2022 Carnival will also be the first vehicle in the US to get Kia’s new logo.
We’ll have all the details on February 23 at 11am PST.
