Ford has yet to even confirm its existence, but what we have here is our first look at the 2022 Ford Maverick compact truck. We’ve seen several spy photos of the Ford’s new small truck, but now a TFLtruck reader caught a camo-free Maverick driving on the streets of San Diego, filming a commercial.
What we’re looking at here is likely a First Edition or top trim level of the 2022 Maverick.
We don’t know a lot about the Maverick yet, but it’s expected to share its platform with the Ford Bronco Sport. It will reportedly also be available with 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter engines and the base model will also only send the power to the front wheels. All-wheel drive will be optional.
