Volkswagen has already announced that the 2021 Atlas is getting a facelift, which we’ll get to see next month in Chicago, but it looks like the it’s also planning a facelift for the 2021 Tiguan. We don’t know when the 2021 Tiguan is going to debut, but VW is already taking photos of the updated Tiguan and luckily one image has popped up in Instagram.

The 2021 VW Tiguan was already spotted out in the wild and this image was taken by CocheSpias and posted on Instagram. The photo doesn’t provide a lot of details, but we can see that the 2021 Tiguan will get a new face with new headlights and larger air intakes. The updated face might bring it closer in line with the new Atlas Cross Sport and the updated 2021 Atlas.

It’s also being reported that the Tiguan is set to receive a new Tiguan R version, which will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with over 300 horsepower. The 2021 Tiguan could debut at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show in March. Stay tuned.
