If you’ve been waiting for the Polestar 2 electric sedan to arrive, we have some good news. Polestar has announced that it will arrive this summer and its price has been lowered $3,000, which means that it now starts at $59,900.

With the lowered price, the Polestar 2 is now eligible for a $2,000 state rebate in certain states, like California and New York. It’s also eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit.

Polestar has also announced the pricing for some of the Polestar 2’s options. The Performance Package lists for $5,000, buyers can add a Nappa leather interior for $4,000 or 20-inch wheels for $1,200. The metallic paint colors also list for $1,200.

Polestar says that it will announce the lease and finance options in the near future.

The 2021 Polestar 2 is powered by two electric motors that generate a combined 408 hp and 487 lb-ft. of torque and a 78 kWh battery. The Polestar 2 can reach 0-62 mph in under five seconds and has a 275-mile driving range.
