Yesterday leaked photos of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class leaked, which was bad timing, since Mercedes-Benz also released the first teaser of the new S-Class at the same time.

In the video, parent company Daimler AG talks about its return following the closure due to the coronavirus. The automaker discusses how its employing social distancing techniques as production resumes, including wearing masks. At the end of the video a camouflaged 2021 S-Class is shown.

Thanks to the leaked photos we have a way better look at the new S-Class than the teaser. The exterior of the 2021 S-Class isn’t a huge departure from the current model and it features many of the same design cues as the CLS. Inside the interior is all new with some cues taken from the Vision EQS concept.

We should see the 2021 S-Class soon, but when it debuts don’t expect to see new two door Coupe and Cabriolet versions, since those are dead.
